Although Terrafirma’s confidence is high following their victory over the Gin Kings, they face a tough challenge against the star-studded roster of San Miguel, led by seven-time league Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo.
Supported by players like Don Trollano, Marcio Lassiter, Jericho Cruz, Chris Ross, and Terrence Romeo, the Beermen are a formidable force on the court.
With the playoffs within reach, Terrafirma coach Cardel emphasizes the importance of not becoming complacent. As they prepare to take on the Beermen, the Dyip will need to put up a strong fight to overcome their formidable opponents and secure a spot in the postseason.
“Four wins, that’s not enough for us to get to the quarterfinals, and then we have a big game coming up this Wednesday against San Miguel. It’s a game we need to win, but then it’s everybody’s ball game,” said Cardel.
