June Mar Fajardo on pace for 9th Best Player of the Conference award

San Miguel main man June Mar Fajardo is on pace to bag his 9th Best Player of the Conference award.
The 30-year old, 1st overall pick of the 2011 PBA rookie draft emerged on top of the BPC race with 38.4 statistical points by the end of the elimination round of the 2019 Governors’ Cup.
Fajardo led the league in rebounds with an average of 13.6 per game to go along with 18.8 points, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocks.
The Beermen are seeded 5th going into the quarterfinal round and would need to win 2 straight games against 4th seed Brgy. Ginebra to gain entry into the semis.
Columbian rookie CJ Perez came in second with 37.2 statistical points on the strength of league-leading averages of 23.2 points 2.5 seals. The Dyip, however, have been booted out of playoff contention from the season-ending conference.
The comebacking Kiefer Ravena finished in 3rd with 36.1 statistical points. The 26-year old national team player, who is coming off an 18-month suspension by FIBA, posted averages of 15.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and a league-leading 8.2 assists per game for the top-seeded NLEX Road Warriors.
TNT’s Roger Pogoy and Meralco’s Raymond Almazan round up the top 5 with 35.3 and 33.8 statistical points, respectively.
