San Miguel sends Paul Zamar, 2025 pick to NorthPort for Allyn Bulanadi

NorthPort wasn’t Allyn Bulanadi’s final destination after all.

A day after being shipped by Converge to the Batang Pier for Jerrick Balanza, the former San Sebastian Stag was on the move again, this time to San Miguel in exchange for veteran guard Paul Zamar plus the Beermen’s 2nd round pick in the 2025 (Season 51) PBA Rookie Draft.

The deal has already been approved by the league making Bulandi officially a Beerman.

Zamar, whose deal with San Miguel lapsed at the stroke of midnight, December 31, 2022, has actually started practicing with Blackwater upon the expiration of his contract.

The Bossing, however, wasn’t able to sign the 35-year old out of University of the East since there is a 30-day grace period for PBA teams to tender an offer to their players with expired contracts.

The Batang Pier now own the rights to Zamar whose father Boycie is listed as an assistant coach of the league’s winningest franchise.

Bulanadi suited up in 21 games for the FiberXers during the first two conferences of Season 47 and averaged 5.1 points and 1.1 rebounds.
