Source: Dez Wells departed immediately after fight with SMB teammates

Dez Wells left the country just two days after figuring in a scuffle with San Miguel teammates during practice.
The explosive import, as per insiders, departed Tuesday night to an undisclosed destination thereby ending his short but colorful stint in the PBA.
Team officials finally broke their silence regarding the incident which happened during the 30th birthday of main man June Mar Fajardo.
Through a statement released to the media, the team announced the indefinite suspension of Arwind Santos, Ronald Tubid and Kelly Nabong for their roles in the scuffle which broke out during a scrimmage.
Witnesses claimed that Wells was floored by a hard pick by Santos leading to a verbal altercation. Tubid then joined the fray by punching Wells who was, in turn, defended by Nabong who punched Tubid in retaliation.
The team has enlisted John Holland, who already has an unimpressive debut tucked under his belt, as Well’s supposedly temporary replacement after the latter sustained an ankle injury during the game against Meralco last October 27.
With the untimely departure of the original import, Holland will reinforce the team for its upcoming game against TNT, Wednesday November 20 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
