Terrence Romeo signs fresh two-year deal with SMB

San Miguel has just signed flamboyant guard Terrence Romeo to a new deal.

The three-time PBA scoring champion agreed to a new contract that will keep him with the Beermen until 2025.

Romeo expressed his gratitude to San Miguel Corporation management led by President and CEO Ramon S. Ang for the continued trust despite coming off an injury-plagued season.

“Laking pasasalamat ko kina Boss RSA and Kay Boss Al (Chua) sa patuloy na pagtitiwala nila sa akin lalo na at galing ako sa injury last season,” said the 5th overall pick of the 2013 draft.

Romeo was unavailable for most of Season 47 due to a hamstring injury, but he came back strong during the 2023 PBA on Tour and submitted 5-game averages of 18.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.

Romeo’s resurgence enabled him to secure a spot with Gilas Pilipinas for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

His return stint with the national team, however, is still pending the approval of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.
