WATCH: How to impress your PT and teammates with a simple MAGIC trick [Part 3]

If the PBA is able to resume play in October or before the end of the year, June Mar Fajardo is unlikely to catch up and suit up with San Miguel Beer.

At stake for everybody else then would be a shot at snapping Fajardo’s record reign as league MVP.

PBA chairman Ricky Vargas said the league should fete players who would excel if they’re able to play the season even with one conference.

Meanwhile, the San Miguel Beer management hinted at not forcing Fajardo to play just for the sake of keeping his MVP reign.

Team manager Gee Abanilla said they would make it sure Fajardo is done with his rehabilitation program and 100 percent ready when he returns to practice.

“His progress is on schedule. He is doing his rehab with our PT’s and he is improving by the day,” said Abanilla of the six-time MVP winner who went down with a shin injury in practice last February.

Fajardo himself is in no rush to return to the court.
