WATCH: Strolling around the Old Town of Tallin Estonia!

There was no respite for the weary as Gilas Pilipinas got straight to work upon arrival in Estonia.

Despite over 22 hours of travel by Turkish Airlines from Manila to Tallinn, with a stopover in Istanbul, the national squad was quick to hold a brief workout at the Nord Spordiklubi Complex just before dinner on Friday.

Estonia is five hours ahead of the Philippines.

Dexter Aseron, strength and conditioning coach, conducted the nighttime practice, which coach Chot Reyes documented on Instagram.

Gilas is on a three-week European training camp as it prepares for its upcoming FIBA World Cup campaign.

The Filipinos will face national teams from Estonia and Finland, as well as Lithuania’s 21-and-under team, during their journey.

Reyes explained that the training is part of the preparations for Gilas’ World Cup voyage.

June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Dwight Ramos, Poy Erram, CJ Perez, Kiefer Ravena, Rhenz Abando, Thirdy Ravena, Chris Newsome, Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonzo, and AJ Edu are among the 12-man training pool in Estonia.
