Twenty one hopefuls beat the November 29 deadline for inclusion in the 2019 PBA Rookie Draft.

In total, 71 applicants made themselves available for this year’s rookie pool which is considered by league observers as ‘talent-rich’.

The draft will be held on Sunday, December 8 at the Robinson’s Place Manila in Ermita.

Conspicuously missing from the list is 3-time UAAP Men’s Basketball Tournament Finals MVP Thirdy Ravena who, according to sources, opted to train and if possible compete abroad.

Leading this year’s batch are Ateneo standouts Aaron Black, Isaac Go and twins Mike and Matt Nieto, Letran’s Bonbon Batiller and Jerrick Balanza, UE’s Rey Suerte and Lyceum twins Jaycee and Jayvee Marcelino.

Also declaring themselves available are San Sebastian’s Allyn Bullanadi, UST’s Renzo Subido, and La Salle’s Kib Montalbo.

Roosevelt Adams, Sean Manganti, and Daryl Singotinko headline the Fil-foreigners on the list.

The league will hold a two-day Combine on December 4 and 5 at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong.
